Thank you for caring enough about our daughter, or us, to check out our totally awesome website. Bentley is an angel given to us back in October, 2012. We've realized there are a ton of people out there who care about her. So, we've created this site to update all of you on how she's doing, what's new in her world, and other stuff you might enjoy.
This is just a place I can let you know what's up with my angel. Don't expect proper grammar or punctuation, Bentley doesn't use it, so neither do we.
We expect to learn a lot during the next few years. Should make for some good stories. Don't assume because I work in healthcare that I will explain everything perfectly, or totally understand what is going on. I don't. I'm new to all of this and hardly understand any of it.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We're anxious to see where this journey takes us, and who all we will share it with. Love you all.
Justin and Lindsay
PS: at this point we know she's deaf, blind, and has a mitochondrial disorder in her muscles. She received bilateral cochlear implants in February, 2014.
Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
