The scent for summer "Essence of a hospital"

Well the smell says it all.  Our neurologist is the nicest guy.  I really like him.  But Bentley wouldn't smile for him once.  Not even a grin.  I guess kids can even smell that they are in the doctor's office.  I was hoping it was still too early for her to learn that.  Oh well.

The doc reassured us there were no gross abnormailites with the MRI.  Always good news.  This may rule out a couple of the worst muscular dystrophies, but not all.  He is going to refer Bentley for a muscle and skin biopsy.  He explained why for each, but I don't want to butcher what he said so I'm not going to try.  It all sounded pretty interesting.  Both of the lab tests will be run at other facilities outside of Alabama.  It could take another month or more to get them back after the biopsy is done.

Now we wait.  We should get the biopsy done soon.  There is no need to wait, except on the physician doing it.  We still have yet to receive word on any of the genetics tests.  We will keep plugging along as usual.

**On a side note.  Bentley and I spent a few days last week down in Dothan getting to know our future home.  She seemed to like it.  Everybody was incredibly friendly and showed her a ton of love and attention.  We're going to like our new home!  Little Miss Peanut here we come.  Check out the who donated the wagon we used at Children's today.  Thank you Dothan.

Hey Justin and Lindsay, you all have been in our prayers and it is awesome to see and hear about so many of those prayers being answered. I adore the story of the lady and her daughter with glasses that later approached you to offer words of comfort. It melted my heart and I know without a doubt that was God speaking to you letting you know that you are not alone. I know, as well as you, that God has a special plan for precious Bentley. I hope you don't think Wes and I have been pushy or anything when asking to get together,we just want you and Lindsay to know that we are here for you and we care for you deeply. Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do for you all., as we would at any point anyway. :) Congrats on the future move to Dothan, we had no idea. Please let Lindsay know that we are here for you all and Bentley could not be sweeter!!! Addison and I were adoring the pictures you posted. I understand you all are extremely busy but we hope to see you soon! Do you have that sweet baby girl a great Auburn outfit? :) I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to share some of my favorite Bible verses with you guys. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God"... We love you!

Justin, I always love your joyful spirit. What a blessing! You and Lindsey have a beautiful little angeln Bentley. Thanks for sharing her world with everyone.
I have a nephew whose parents call him "B" all the time. I just love that.
Prayers are poured out and blessings abound. Joy is not the absence of suffering, but the presence of God. Your family is truly loved.

Justin & Lindsay, even though you don't know me I feel I know Justin and his family. I was one of many who prayed so earnestly for your Dad and Mom. When I heard about Bentley in Sunday School, I have been praying for your precious Bentley and her parents. My prayers go with you and I pray God's peace and presence in increasing measure.

Hello from England!
You've been in my thoughts for a while so it was great to get your updates direct from the source. I woke up this morning and thought about another cold day and how I was going to deal with it. (We've had the coldest March for 50 years.) Then I read, "10 Little Fingers," and it melted my heart. Bentley, through her incredibly awesome mom and dad, sent me a message, loud and clear. Be happy! My attitude changed, instead of the cold, I noticed how the sun was shining, the birds were chirping and, despite the fact they eat all our plants, I smiled as I watched a couple of rabbits hop around the front garden. Thank you Bentley, you made a difference in my life today. xoxo
Much love and prayers to you all.

Justin & Lindsay:
I worked for Dr. Bryant and I too have had a child that was blind at birth but guess what? God healed her little eyes and I know that he can do the same for Bentley. I talk with your mom and keep updated. Just know that we are all praying for you and your whole family.
